As a certified Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy practitioner since 1996, Rhoda applies techniques such as breath awareness, guided meditation and supported movement to help clients focus on what's happening in the moment. By reflecting upon and integrating the insights received during a session, there is an increased awareness of the natural connection between the body, the mind and how you respond to the issues in your life.
This co-creative process allows clients to be actively and consciously involved at all levels. Geared toward each individual’s needs, a session might include one or more of the following: simple breathing methods, relaxation and meditation techniques, non-directive dialog and supported yoga poses. For those with limited mobility, a session could be done easily in a chair, lying down or even standing. The intention is to support self-discovery and self- empowerment, while offering an effective, safe and natural path to well being.
